Pink has always been one of our favorite colors. And it’s the star of this design story, set in the home of a mother and her daughter.
The master bedroom was large enough to include a walk-in closet, nicely tucked away behind a hidden door. For the furniture we chose dark wood with brass fittings, complemented by the lamps with “rock glass” and golden finishes, which bring an extra touch of glam.
The master bathroom continues the theme, with its diamond shape tiles in different shades of white, and a dark pink wall for contrast behind the freestanding tub. A delicate LED light mirror and Art Deco lamps next to the mirror complete the look. The floor of the entire space, including the bathroom, is something special: a product from Corkline with wood-like finishing.
For the daughter’s bedroom, we agreed with our little client to create a space representing a young lady rather than a schoolgirl, so she can enjoy it for years to come. The room incorporates all her needs, while the neutral grey and beige tones form a great background for dark pink textures in the drapes and the desk chair.
The story has a happy end, with a design that radiates a sweet “La Vie En Rose” feeling.
