Multipurpose Livingoom a bold interior design project
Interior Design / Residential
The initial discussion with the clients included partitioning the livingroom so that the daughter would get her own room. Although there were enough square meters available, after analyzing the layout of the apartment we concluded that transforming the space into 2 separate rooms would not work. But a separate space was possible.
Further discussions revealed that the clients were in need for an everyday eating area, since their kitchen didn’t have one. Also, a big dining table for having guests over an own desk for the daughter in the “new room” were required. We came out with the partitioning solution and decorations in bold color palette – and they absolutely loved it.
Since the apartment was not going into complete renovation, our solution included light fixtures that will not need electrical changes to be made in the apartment and which also complemented the design.
