To become a home for a family of four, the ground floor of this small house needed a complete remodel. Our project included a change in the original layout, so that the entrance hall and kitchen are fully optimized.
To separate the two spaces, we opted for a glass brick wall – it allows the light to flow on both sides, and visually maximizes the perception of space. All furniture in the hall area and kitchen stretches up to the ceiling, in order to create extra storage space.
In the living room we used the space under the stairs for storage, keeping the room uncluttered. The modern, clean-cut furniture and light wood textures, whites and greys enhance the airy atmosphere, with vivid touches of green moss decorations for contrast.
