A very exciting idea: to convert an unused church into a museum. Since we didn’t know what kind of exhibitions it would host, if they would rotate or there would be a permanent one, we created a modular concept, with wooden panels and tables that could be mixed and moved. The holes in the table tops and panels bring extra versatility.
We also kept the event space / church function, with the original benches. The arch that separates the exhibition space and furniture were to be fitted with wheels, for easy rearrangement. The light fixtures remind of the canvases lifted when a work of art is unveiled.
The style is modern and minimalist, allowing the art works to receive full attention.
