This design project comes to prove that limitations, for instance the budget, are just an opportunity to be creative, and make the best of the elements at hand.
Situated in a historical building, this studio had a lot to offer. It made perfect sense to keep the hardwood floors and the wooden ceiling beams in the kitchen, as well as exposing a part of a brick wall, as an eye-catching decoration. By contrast, the custom-made furniture is built from fiberboard and OSB, and has a hip, youthful look.
The studio has been designed for renting, suitable for couples, for short-term renting but also over longer periods of time, since it offers all the comfort and a vibrant atmosphere.
