Pink has always been one of our favourite colors. This is a story of the personal space of a mother and her daughter where we fully embraced the idea of using pink tones. When we are on the same page with the clients, things can only go into the right direction.
The master bedroom had enough space for a walk-in closet, for which we chose a hidden door. For a glam look we added a mixture of lamps with “rock glass” and golden finishes, while using dark wood furniture with brass fittings.
For the bathroom the decision for diamond shape tiles in different shades of white and dark pink for the contrast wall behind the stand alone tub was taken. A fine LED light mirror and Deco lamps next to the mirror complete the look. The floor of the entire space, including the bathroom, is something special: a product from Corkline with wood-alike finishing.
For the girl’s bedroom we were happy that our little client agreed on a touch representing a young lady rather than a schoolgirl, so she can enjoy it for years to come. The neutral grey and beige tones form a great background for dark pink textures in the drapes and the desk’s chair. In the end this room has it all: one person bed, book shelves, a large desk, a quiet big dresser and a reading space in front of the window.
We can all agree that this design incorporates a decent “La vie en rose” feeling.
